Rajesh

In 2020, our team at Sai Nikethana received information about a speechless elderly man who had been living destitute at a bus station about 15 kilometers from our ashram for nearly two weeks. Acting immediately, we brought him to our facility.
Rajesh, as we now call him, communicates solely through hand gestures and a few sounds. His body bears scars from a childhood fire accident. He often points to a Hanuman tattoo on his arm and carries a photo of Shirdi Sai Baba, suggesting spiritual connections important to his identity.
Though mentally alert and aware, Rajesh’s inability to speak has made it impossible to trace his address or family. At Sai Nikethana, he has found a safe haven where his needs are met with dignity and compassion, reminding us that communication extends beyond words and that every life deserves respect regardless of circumstance.
